You are looking at our Tokerud Consulting Group website. We are a consulting firm that does a lot of FileMaker Pro database development along with technology consulting for Mac, iPhone and iPad.

Tokerud blog is not a mere blog. It is a blog-based website that replaces the static version of tokerud.com that precedes it. We were already imitating a blog in some ways, now we give you the real thing. WordPress gives us a lot more power under the hood.

Now we get more interactivity to the tokerud.com site. This blog allows comments as one opportunity for you to interact with us and our content. You can even leave comments on our static pages like this one – see below.

I’m Janet Tokerud, the webmaster here and founder and CEO of Tokerud Consulting Group. My main blog is over at Tech Ronin.

Database maven, head honcho, web fanatic and industry observer, I started creating software in 1980 as a Systems Marketing Rep for Control Data. I went solo as a FileMaker consultant in 1986, completed an MBA in Marketing from UC Berkeley in 1987 and founded Tokerud Consulting Group in 1989.

Tokerud Consulting Group focuses on the design community. We’ve created a FileMaker-based business product for design firms and ad agencies. The product is called Studio Manager. This link takes you to the website we’ve developed to showcase the product and provide everything you might want to know about it including lots of screenshots, brief descriptions of each major feature and a free demo.
