If you have an iPad and don't own Notability, it's on sale for $1. Full-featured, attractive, easy to use for notes.
Apples *iBooks2 or the highway* rule probably because of the app-like nature of an enhanced eBook. Hoping Apple will loosen that asap.
I dislike intensely Apple's rule that for pay eBooks can only be sold in iBookstore. A way around that for knowledge pros should surface.
Ubiquitous iPads at $199-299 would allow knowledge professionals to author enhanced iBooks for reports to clients.
Hope to see $199 iPad so students & knowledge workers can author enhanced iBooks. Independent Knowledge Professionals - start authoring now.
My new iBook in the making with iBooks Author. Knowledge worker's sandbox for writing and creativity. See image.

The new 6.2.2 upgrade to Kindle Fire is sweet. Upgrade happened automatically. Full screen browsing, snappier response, easier email setup.
I just blogged on iPad apps to help you keep current as a knowledge worker in my series on knowledge functions on iPad:

I tend to buy kindle books instead of iBooks so I can read on Kindles & iOS devices & the occasional Mac or from a browser! That may change.
Samsung’s ‘Smart Window’ is amazing minority report coming true - short high quality YouTube demo:

Happily installed a Kindle Store web clip button on my iPad to get to the new iPad version of the store quickly. Nice job.
I see Skitch is in the Amazon store on Kindle Fire - free. Integrates seamlessly with Evernote - captions, boxes, arrows, freehand pencil.
